Erica works closely with owner-managed businesses across a wide range of industries, supporting clients through every stage of their business life cycle. Her expertise includes corporate and personal tax planning, trusts and estates, and corporate reorganizations. Having completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program, she brings expert technical knowledge to complex matters while explaining them in a way that actually makes sense.
Outside the office, Erica is a busy mom of four raising her family in her hometown of Campbell River, where hockey schedules rule the calendar. Her family’s deep involvement in the sport means you’ll often find her at the rink cheering, volunteering or organizing logistics with precision.

Karen Stewart, CPA, CA

With more than 30 years of experience, Karen Stewart believes business is personal. For her, it’s never just about numbers, it’s about the people and families who pour their energy, time, and heart into building something meaningful.
She has guided clients through every stage of the business journey: start-up, growth, transition to the next generation, sales to new owners, and thoughtful retirement planning. She takes pride in getting to know her clients beyond the balance sheet, and understanding their families, their goals, and what success looks like to them, then building practical, plans to help them get there.
Her clients value the trust she’s built over decades of steady guidance, honesty, and genuine care. Known for her calm perspective, Karen has a way of making complex decisions feel clear, grounded, and manageable.
Outside the office, Karen is known for her warmth and loyalty to both friends and community. Over the years, she has been an active volunteer in Campbell River and Courtenay, continuing a long tradition of giving back to the region she calls home.

Sarah Samson, CPA, CA
Sarah has been a CPA, CA since 2007 and specializes in assurance services and not-for-profit organizations. She is deeply involved in the community through volunteer work with several local non-profits, including serving in leadership and treasurer roles. Outside the office, Sarah is a soccer and basketball mom, enthusiastic cheerleader, and team driver extraordinaire.
Jess Collins, CPA, CA
Jess focuses on tax engagements, including personal and corporate year-end work, estate tax filings, and special tax elections. She earned her CPA, CA designation in 2008 and has spent her career in public practice. When she's not working, she enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling, working remotely so she can spend time with family across Canada and in Laos.
Jessica Roberts, CPA, CA
Jessica provides corporate tax services and year-end support across a wide range of industries. During tax season, she also assists shareholders and individuals with their personal tax filings. After earning a BSc in Biology and Psychology, she discovered a passion for accounting. Outside of work, Jessica and her two daughters foster kittens for adoption.
Laura Lihou
Laura is a cornerstone of our administrative team and plays a key role in keeping our office running smoothly and efficiently. She helps coordinate behind-the-scenes details that support us on a daily basis. Born and raised in Campbell River, Laura is a proud mother of three.
Tristen Gilbertson
Tristen is a valued member of our administrative team and a true jack-of-all-trades who helps keep the office operating efficiently. She is a tremendous resource for both staff and clients. Outside the office, Tristen is an artist whose creativity shines through in everything she does.
April Shirran
April is the first friendly face clients see when they walk through our doors. She performs reception duties with professionalism and warmth, supporting clients, handling calls, and assisting the team with a wide range of administrative needs.
Erin Yancey
Erin is a senior bookkeeper and a member of our accounting technician team. She has 10+ years of experience providing full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll services to a diverse client base. In her spare time, she volunteers as Treasurer for Campbell River Minor Hockey, having recently retired as a hockey mom to her two sons.
Pamela Bruce
Pamela is a bookkeeper and member of our accounting technician team, providing full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll services to a variety of clients. Her favourite part of the job is helping clients and collaborating with her amazing co-workers. Outside of work, she is a yoga enthusiast and animal lover.
Maria Stevenson
Maria is a bookkeeper and member of our accounting technician team, helping businesses manage their bookkeeping and payroll needs. Outside of work she values time with her family and pets and enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors.
Matt Ubriaco
Matt is an accounting technician who focuses on year-end engagements and tax services. He is currently completing the prerequisites required to enter the CPA program and is working toward obtaining his CPA designation. A lifelong Campbell River resident, Matt is a talented musician, an avid stamp collector, and is actively involved in the local hockey community.
Kristen Dokken
Kristen is a CPA student and recent graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). She assists businesses and individuals with compilation engagements and tax filings. Outside of work, Kristen is an avid reader, enjoys baking, and is the proud owner of Hank, the world's cutest dog.
Tiffany Mooers
Tiffany is a member of our bookkeeping team, supporting our accounting technician team to provide our clients with bookkeeping and payroll services. A proud mother of two and avid skydiver, she has volunteered with the Operation Pegasus Foundation since 2022, helping foster connections within the Veteran, Military, and First Responder communities.
